My name is Arseniy Finberg. I was born April, 20 1981. When I was four years old I entered the Kindergarten. I finished it when I was 7. The same age I've began to study English. In 1980 I entered the school #25, Kiev. In 1997 with my friends I founded the Tolkien society "Gil-Estel". That year I've began to learn French. In 1993 I had a trip to Switzerland and I've studied there for 2 months in grammar school. In 1995 I became a leader of youth group in Ukrainian Korchak society. Starting from the summer 1995 I began to participate in International Korchak camp in Holland named "Korchak". I was there in summer 1994, 1997, 1998. Last year I participated there as a leader. That year I participated in Korchak system camp "Vash dom". In 1998 I was a student of European cultural center in France. I've finished the highest level National University course in English with the highest mark. Now I'm 16 year old. I live with my parents. And now I'm going to enter to Kiev-Mogila Academy University to the economical department. I speak English, French, Ukrainian and Russian. On the February, 1999 I took part in the online Scavenger Hunt in the frame of Jewish Web Week, 1999. It was an outstanding Web event, where Jewish teens from a different part of the globe took part! Persons and teams had to surf around the site to answer questions about people who changed the world. Prizes were awarded for teamwork and individuals, effort, most thoughtful answers and best artwork. I became a first prize-winner. I'll visit Washington, D. C. on April, 1999. I want to pay attention of all people, who are not indifferent to the future of Jewish community in Ukraine: Internet and other Hi-Tech is our future. We want to grow up together.
